Dr R Sai Shiva Jayanth

PhD (IIM Kozhikode)

Dr. R. Sai Shiva Jayanth serves as Director (Finance) at IIMV FIELD, the incubation and innovation centre of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam. He is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, and holds a Ph.D. in Economics (Agriculture Economics) from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. He is currently Assistant Professor in the Public Policy and Economics area at IIM Visakhapatnam.

Prof Jayanth co-founded Cheers Wisdom Pvt. Ltd., a digital well-being startup, and Script Craft Pvt. Ltd., a venture focused on AI/ML-driven filmmaking tools. He is also an Advisor to Samva Collective, a creative social impact enterprise, and serves on the Advisory Board of AgBharat, a platform promoting sustainable agriculture and farmer-led innovations. An active member of multiple professional and academic bodies such as IFAMA, REECAP, and AAEA, Dr. Jayanth is passionate about bridging research and practice in sustainable agriculture, public policy, and rural innovation.

Dr. Jayanth’s expertise spans agribusiness, agriculture policy, financial valuations, feasibility analysis, and market research. His research and consulting work focus on digital agriculture, farmer welfare, technology adoption, and rural transformation. He has consulted for several national and international organizations including the International Potato Centre (CIP), CGIAR (Africa), and the Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Kozhikode, contributing to projects in Uganda, Kenya, and India.
