Mr. Pramod Lavand

PGP I, IIM Visakhapatnam ’28 | B.Tech - Civil Engineering, VJTI Mumbai

Pramod Lavand is currently pursuing his MBA at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, where he serves as a Junior Partner at EPIC, contributing to initiatives that foster entrepreneurship and connect aspiring founders with the startup ecosystem.

Before joining IIM Visakhapatnam, Pramod built a diverse professional foundation spanning engineering and business analytics. He began his career as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Burns & McDonnell India, where he worked on the modelling and analysis of transmission structures, before transitioning to a Business Analyst role at Mirraw Online Services. There, he worked on pricing, promotions, customer behaviour, website performance, and profitability, developing a strong interest in data-driven decision-making and business strategy.

Beyond his professional journey, Pramod has actively pursued leadership and extracurricular opportunities. He has held leadership positions across Rotaract, CESA, and the IGBC VJTI Committee, where he led teams, organised large-scale events, managed finances, and contributed to professional development and research initiatives. He has also been recognised as a Best Performer at RYLA 2024, won a gold medal at the State-Level Taekwondo Championship, and was selected for the National Taekwondo Team.

Pramod is passionate about entrepreneurship, finance, strategy, and business analytics, with a keen interest in understanding how businesses are built and scaled. Outside academics and work, he enjoys dancing, sports, and spontaneous experiences that challenge him and encourage personal growth. He aspires to combine analytical thinking, strategic insight, and strong execution to contribute to high-impact ventures.
