Pranav Manurkar is currently pursuing his MBA at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, where he is actively involved in leadership and ecosystem-building initiatives. He serves as the Senior Partner at EPIC, contributing to industry engagement, strategic conversations, and initiatives that foster stronger connections between academia, business, and innovation.
Before joining IIM Visakhapatnam, Pranav built a strong career in the financial markets, with experience spanning equity derivatives, market surveillance, and institutional dealing. His professional journey has provided him with deep exposure to capital markets, trading strategy, regulatory oversight, and institutional market operations, equipping him with a well-rounded understanding of how financial ecosystems function in high-stakes environments.
Over the years, he has worked closely with brokers, custodians, clearing corporations, and institutional investors, building a strong network across the financial services landscape. His experience combines analytical rigor with execution excellence, from identifying market opportunities and designing strategies to managing risk, ensuring compliance, and executing high-value transactions.
Beyond public markets, Pranav has developed a strong interest in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and private equity, driven by a curiosity for how businesses are built, scaled, and transformed. He is particularly fascinated by the intersection of capital, strategy, and innovation, whether in backing disruptive ventures, evaluating business models, or enabling long-term value creation. His long-term aspiration is to work at the intersection of investing and entrepreneurship, supporting businesses through both capital and strategic insight.
