PGPM Candidate - Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (2025–27) | BBA – Manipal University Jaipur (Class of 2024)

Sadik Ahmed Laskar comes from Kushadanga, a small village in Howrah, West Bengal, carrying with him the mindset of someone who believes that ambition is not defined by where you start, but by how far you are willing to go. A graduate in Business Administration from Manipal University Jaipur and currently pursuing his PGP in Management at Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, he stands at the intersection of business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. His journey has been shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a constant desire to build meaningful things. From working across business development, strategy, marketing, and analytics roles to collaborating with startups and fast-moving teams, he has always been drawn toward spaces where ideas turn into impact.

As a Partner at EPIC, Sadik joined not just to be part of a community, but to deeply understand the startup ecosystem, connect with builders and dreamers, and contribute to ventures that can create real change. Entrepreneurship, for him, is more than a career path. It is a mindset built on taking risks, solving problems, and creating value where none existed before. He believes the most exciting stories are written by people who dare to build despite uncertainty. His interests lie in startups, strategy, innovation, and the human side of leadership that inspires people to believe in a vision.

Outside academics and professional pursuits, Sadik finds inspiration in books, football, and stories of passion and resilience. A devoted supporter of Liverpool FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant, he connects deeply with the culture, emotion, and fighting spirit these clubs represent. One quote by Jürgen Klopp continues to shape the way he sees life: “It’s not so important what people think about you when you come in, it’s more important what people think about you when you go out.” That philosophy became personal for him. He wants to leave every room, every team, and every project better than he found it, creating a legacy where people remember not just his presence, but the impact of his work long after he moves forward.
