Mr Phanendra Naidu Avugadda

Phanendra is a driven young leader and an alumnus of the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) Program of IIM Visakhapatnam.

In the MGNF Program, supported by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, Phanendra has worked extensively in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. Throughout the program, he gained in-depth grassroots experience working within district administrations on critical national development schemes for skill development, livelihood creation and entrepreneurship promotion. He showcased strategic thinking and effective coordination across high-impact projects in Guntur district.

As the key coordinator for the district, Phanendra prepared skill development plans, enabled institutional collaborations with organizations like SIDBI and MSME Technology Centers, and ensured last-mile delivery of schemes like 10 Month Mandatory Internships and UNNATI. His work led to numerous awards and nominations recognizing Guntur district at the state and national level. He himself was honoured with the ‘Republic Day Meritorious Award’ in the “Best District Officer” category by the District Collector.

Beyond his exemplary professional pursuits, Phanendra has a long-standing passion for social upliftment. He founded Mivaan Society, an NGO in Visakhapatnam, empowering rural youth through education, career support and healthcare assistance. During COVID, his NGO provided emergency relief to affected families. For his community development efforts spanning over a decade, Phanendra has been felicitated as a Young Climate Leader by the U.S Consulate General Hyderabad.

With his excellent track record, strategic perspective, and selfless public service orientation, Phanendra is primed to drive transformation across roles at the confluence of administration, policymaking, and grassroots change.
